ALPHA DRIVE ONE Launches Pre-Debut Reality Show as Anticipation Builds for January 2026 Debut

Mnet has officially announced the launch of an original reality series, "ALPHA DRIVE ONE, Let's GO," offering fans an intimate look into the pre-debut journey of the highly anticipated K-pop boy group, ALPHA DRIVE ONE (ALD1).

The eight-member multinational group, formed through the survival show 'Boys II Planet', is set to make their official debut on January 12, 2026, with the mini-album 'EUPHORIA'.

The Road to Debut: A "Driving Log" of Excitement and Nerves The new Mnet Plus series, which premieres on December 23 at 8 p.m. KST, is designed to capture the raw, natural moments of the members as they race toward their debut.

Pitched as a "driving log," the show will document their journey from their first official performance at the 2025 MAMA Awards through intense rehearsals and personal moments shared within their exclusive vehicle, affectionately dubbed the "Alpaca" by fans.

The production team aims to convey the blend of excitement, nerves, and mutual encouragement among the members.

Members and Background ALPHA DRIVE ONE is composed of eight members: Leo, Junseo, Arno (Zhang Jiahao), Geonwoo, Sangwon, Xinlong, Anxin, and Sanghyeon. The group was chosen by global fans, known as "Star Creators," from 223 countries and regions worldwide during the finale of 'Boys II Planet' in September 2025. The name of the group signifies their mission to be the best (ALPHA), their passion (DRIVE), and their unity (ONE) as a team.

Many members have prior industry experience, adding to the high expectations. Junseo is a member of the group WEi, while Xinlong is part of the Chinese boy group BOY STORY. Leo, who has been confirmed as the leader, and Sangwon were previously known as the duo Leo & Sangwon and were part of Trainee.

Upcoming Releases and Events Ahead of their reality show premiere and full album release, the group has already dropped their pre-debut single, 'Formula,' a dynamic electronic dance-pop track which was first performed at the 2025 MAMA Awards. Their debut mini-album 'EUPHORIA' is scheduled for release on January 12, 2026.

With a busy schedule ahead that includes appearances at the Melon Music Awards and other year-end events, the group is working hard to meet the high expectations of their rapidly growing global fandom, ALLYZ.
