BTS Reunites for Surprise OT7 Weverse Live Stream

Global K-pop sensation BTS has delighted fans, known as the ARMY, with a series of surprise full-group Weverse live streams following the completion of all members' mandatory military service this year.

The surprise reunion moments, a rarity since enlistments began in 2022, have offered a powerful display of the group's unwavering bond and generated immense excitement for their official 2026 activities.

The most recent surprise live stream occurred on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, when all seven members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook gathered in their practice room for an unannounced broadcast via Jimin's Weverse account. Unlike the more formal July 1 reunion stream which announced their 2026 album and world tour plans, this recent session was purely organic, lasting approximately 12 minutes of "chaos, warmth and familiarity".

The stream captured the members dancing to old songs, laughing, and playfully interacting, with leader RM surprising fans with the iconic greeting, "Hi, we are BTS!". Anecdotes were shared, including Suga showing off an eyeliner trick and RM celebrating his new driver's license, showcasing their relaxed camaraderie after a long hiatus.

This informal gathering served as a visual confirmation that the group is united and ready for their next chapter, effectively quashing recent online discourse and concerns about the group's future.

The surprise December stream comes just days after RM candidly addressed the immense pressure and the thought of disbandment during an earlier solo live stream, highlighting the weight of expectations surrounding their major comeback. RM has confirmed the group has been actively filming content and practicing together throughout December, with the new album "almost here" for a spring 2026 release.

The group's first official reunion live stream took place on July 1, 2025, shortly after all members were discharged from the military, where they formally announced their return plans.

Fans have since been treated to other short glimpses, including a brief 7-minute stream from a Los Angeles beach in August. With a new album and a global stadium tour planned for next year, the spontaneous live streams serve as a powerful reminder of BTS's close bond and build anticipation for what promises to be one of K-pop's most significant comebacks in history.
