K-Pop Sensation AHOF to Headline SM Mall of Asia New Year's Eve Countdown

AHOF, the nine-member K-pop group whose name is derived from the Korean word for "nine" and stands for "All-time Hall Of Famer", is set to headline the highly anticipated New Year's Eve countdown event at the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) in the Philippines.

The event, a collaboration with GMA Network as the "Kapuso Countdown to 2026," promises a massive, unforgettable night of free entertainment and a world-class fireworks spectacle at Seaside Boulevard.

Formed through the SBS survival show Universe League, AHOF boasts a diverse, multinational lineup featuring members from Korea, Australia, China, Taiwan, Japan, and the Philippines.

The group is comprised of Steven, Jeongwoo, Woongki, Shuaibo, Han, JL Gaspar, Juwon, Chih En, and Daisuke.

The inclusion of Filipino member JL Gaspar adds a special local appeal, a factor generating significant buzz and creating a dilemma for fans who must choose between family traditions and attending the free admission concert.

AHOF is already familiar with the Philippine concert scene, having held a sold-out fan concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum and a fansign event earlier in August 2025, where they expressed their love for their Filipino fans.

Event Details and Expectations The New Year's Eve festivities will kick off at 8:30 p.m. on December 31, 2025, and run until midnight. AHOF will lead a constellation of Kapuso stars, including Christian Bautista, Julie Anne San Jose, Kyline Alcantara, and many others, in performances that will energize the crowd throughout the night.

The event is a highlight of the group's proactive pre-debut (as of the earlier fan meet) and recent activities, which have seen them achieve monster rookie status with a successful debut mini-album Who We Are in July 2025 and an EP The Passage in November 2025.

AHOF's performance is expected to be a major draw, building on their established connection with the local fanbase and their rapid rise in the global K-pop market.
